Washington Needs a Commission on Boys and Men

Attend the ‘Helping Boys Thrive’ Summit, Oct. 2 in Spokane. We’ll be there!

The Spokane Fatherhood Initiative is hosting an event on Saturday, October 2 that will teach adults how to help our boys become loving, wise, successful men. People are invited to participate in-person, or they can view the recording for a limited time afterward. Visit the event website for more information, including a list of key topics the speakers will cover.

Washington Initiative for Boys and Men will staff a table at the event and will address the audience briefly about our advocacy work.

One of the event’s two main speakers is Spokane’s own Michael Gurian of the Gurian Institute. Michael is the author of 28 books and is an expert on the science that can and should inform the raising, mentoring, and educating of our sons and daughters.
