For the November 2024 election, Senator Mark Mullet (D-Issaquah) is not running for reelection to his Senate seat.

On the second-to-last day of the 2024 legislative session, Mr. Mullet made a farewell speech to his colleagues on the Senate floor. Prior to the speech, his fellow senators surprised him by donning mullet wigs, which led to some comedic moments included in our video below.
